Abraham Kuyper — 'There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, Mine!'

Reality without a box.

Yes! I’ve felt the same tension as someone in full-time ministry. Thank you for sharing some reality with me over a bowl of oatmeal last weekend. 💕

I wish we’d had more time, but I’m thankful for what we have!

And yes, you get it, for sure.

One day I hope to be able to attend a retreat! (What was inside that beautiful little envelope? If you can share...)

Things that taste good: basil seeds, mint tea bags, a honey stick, and packets of crystallized lime. I need to make use of it!

Well said, Loren.

I'm very behind on my newsletter subscriptions, but thanks so much for sharing your takeaways from the retreat! I'm hungry for any account of it.

I missed you there, Heather! Our conversations the past few years have always been gold.

I agree! "Gold" is the perfect word for it. Needed to skip this summer to hopefully make space for Hutchmoot this fall. I don't actually have a ticket yet, but I'm actively looking. Let me know if you hear of anyone looking to offload one.

I’ll keep my ears open! Tickets always seem to come available, even last minute. I really hope you get to go!

I’m so sad I couldn’t join yall this year in Nashville! I miss my Habit folks. Who knew moving could take so long?

Your reflections remind me of St Olga of Alaska. Hidden in Arctic tundra, she is known as a midwife and healer of women with trauma. Very specific, lowly, behind closed doors tasks that she did with God’s help and Love.

I’ve thought of you often, Monica, as you’ve been transitioning to a new place! Missed you at the retreat! May you flourish in your new community. Thanks for sharing the story of Saint Olga 💕

Yes, Loren! Thanks for helping us see reality even more clearly.
